Document each month of 2015 with a little help from Aly Dosdall. Every month, Aly will provide new ideas for layouts, organization, and more to make memory keeping easy. In this eighth installment of the Document 2015 class series, Aly will be sharing a new month-in-review layout, some sketches, and plenty of tips to help you record the year in an authentic, creative, and fun way. As we all know, life is busy, so finding time to scrapbook can be tough, but this monthly series is a great way to set aside some time to get those stories told! At the end of the year, students will come away with an entire album documenting their story in 2015.
Start with a Sketch with Jen Chapin
Sketches are handy for when you’re running low on ideas. Jen Chapin proves just how inspiring they can be by showing how to use a sketch as a starting point for a layout. You’ll then learn how to translate that same sketch into other types of projects—like cards and pocket page spreads. Jen also demonstrates specific techniques you can use—like stamping on scrapbook pages and creating large titles—to personalize your projects even more!
Kelly Purkey has a passion for travel. In this class, she'll share that passion by showing how she records her adventures inside a 4" x 6" mini album! Kelly proves that every trip—whether big or small—is worth documenting and that creating an album doesn't have to be complicated. She’ll share her super easy process for creating a charming mini book that records all the highlights from whatever events you choose to document. Kelly’s approach to building a mini album is simple: get those photos into an album, and have fun!
