Required Supplies
Do you have all your supplies? Use this checklist to be sure you're not missing anything you'll need!
-
cardstock Cardstock is the base of the project. I'm using an 8.5x11 sheet of white cardstock but you can use a 12x12 sheet if you'd prefer.
-
patterned paper We won't be using a lot of patterned paper in this project so it's the perfect time to bust out those smaller paper pads and scraps.
-
ribbon A quick and easy closure to an accordian mini book
-
clips Clips are a great supply for attaching interactive elements since they're easily removable and rearrangable
-
tags A go-to when I'm creating layers. They work equally great whether they're behind a photo or use for journaling. Try gathering a variety of sizes for this project.
-
photos You'll want photos that will fit both in the pockets and in front of them so creating your base first is a great idea!
-
Die-cuts and other flat embellishments These flat elements are perfect for layering and adding depth. Think die-cuts, tickets, and more.
-
alphabet stickers (optional) If you're going to be creating a title or using monograms or numbers then grab a sheet or two of letter stickers.
-
Your favorite stamps and inks Always useful for stamping journaling lines and other elements.
-
scissors
-
adhesive
-
Stapler (optional) Another useful tool to attach layered elements.
-
Bone folder and stylus Though not essential, a bone folder will help you make crisp folds and allow your finished project to look that much better.
