Required Supplies

Do you have all your supplies? Use this checklist to be sure you're not missing anything you'll need!

1. White Gesso - Any Brand This will give a base to our backgrounds and we will also use as paint.
2. Acrylic Paint in 5-6 colors Any brand of acrylic paint will work. Paint will be used for backgrounds and painting flower layouts.
3. Glue Stick or Matte Gel Medium You will need this to adhere collage elements.
4. Stencils and mark making tools. Stencils and mark making tools will be used to create layers in backgrounds and accents to art journal layouts.
5. Round and flat paint brush A smaller round brush will be used for painting smaller areas and a larger flat brush will be used for painting backgrounds.
6. Sketch pencil or a black colored pencil Used for doodling flowers.
7. Gel Pens in white and black Used for adding details.
8. Collage or scrap papers Used for collage in a background.
9. Alcohol Inks in 4 different colors by Ranger Used to create a background. - (substitute watered down acrylic paint)
10. Black Acrylic Ink by Liquitex Used to paint a flower. - (substitute a black paint marker, sharpie pen, or black acrylic paint)
11. Black ink pad - Optional Used to stamp word or quote on art journal layout.
12. Letter stamps - Optional Used to stamp word or quote on art journal layout.
13. Ink Pads in 2 colors Used to create a background - (substitute watercolor or watered down paint)
