Finally got to use this lovely wood paper. It is of course not the most difficult to use. I always take a lot of pictures and find it hard to just use one picture. And I also got to use three of these big letters I find so hard to use.

I like it! Have you ever printed on vellum? Then you could still see the trees in the background, don't get me wrong, I like the look of your page, but if you want to journal and see more of the paper...then try vellum.
I have tried to print on vellum a couple of times, but it sort of "bleeds" and smooches easily. maybe i didn't get the right vellum. And it also annoys me that I can see the adhesive. But I could of course staple it on (my stapler is a new gadget, just love it!). Yes, I will definitely try vellum again, a different kind. Thanks:-)!

Try the cheeper vellums, they seem to work better with my printer, with the more expensive ones the ink just sits on top and never really dries or it beads up and again never dries. I get mime at hobby lobby it works the best for printing. And I do agree about the adhesives, I have used 3L for vellum, but it shows over time. What I use now is a liquid glue pen and I hide the dots of glue either under a solid paper or strategically placed in an "o" or an "a" near the beginning and ends of a sentence, in 4-6 places on the page, since my pages are under page protectors it doesn't take a lot to just tack the vellum down. Good luck! I don't like staples on my pages as over time they can get a rusty look and it eats the paper, unless they are the coated ones.
