Card Basics
Required Supplies
Do you have all your supplies? Use this checklist to be sure you're not missing anything you'll need!
-
Paper Trimmer This is what I consider to be the most valuable tool in my card making tool box. It is key for making clean, crisp card bases.
-
Cardstock & Patterned Paper While I recommend a good stash of 8 ½ by 11 inch white card stock and 6x6 patterned paper for ease, you can really use whatever you may have on hand. I’ll provide measurements so that you can create cards out of whatever you may have in your stash.
-
Stamps & Ink We’re going to walk through the very basics of stamping. I recommend picking up the class stamp and die set before they’re gone! I’ll show you a few examples of how you can use this set in different ways to create cards for any occasion!
-
Scissors You’ll want to have a pair on hand for trimming out small stamped images, or making small cuts. Every paper crafter needs a good pair of scissors.
-
Adhesive I’ll walk you through my favorites in lesson 1, but if you already have a favorite, use it! You can even use a glue stick!
-
Your Heart & Soul This is the best part of a handmade card. We pour a little bit of ourselves in to each of these handmade treasures and then send them out to share with our loved ones! There’s no better way to share kindness!
