Fundamentals of Exposure for Beginners
candy canes
Good morning!
I hope that everyone is finding the material in this course to be helpful. Today I wanted to share with a photo I took recently for my December Daily album. It was late afternoon on a very gray, overcast day. I set up my shot next to a window with the light coming in from the left side. Shooting in manual mode, I set my ISO to 1600 and my aperture to f/3.2. I experimented with several shutter speeds, but ultimately I liked the dreamy look of 1/50 (slightly overexposed).
I know it's a busy time of year for everyone, but keep shooting! And be sure to upload some of your favorites to the class...I am looking forward to seeing all of your photos! :)
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
