Hailstorm
I took this photo during a crazy hailstorm 2 years ago-while I used a point and shoot camera, I think it works well for this lesson. The photo definitely shows how severe the storm was, you can see all the motion in the puddle as the hailstones strike its surface. However, I think a faster shutter speed may have produced an even more impressive photo as it would likely have captured the size of the hailstones while this image only produced blurs.

Wow! Look at that hail! Your point and shoot did a great job of capturing the motion...it really tells the story! It would be interesting to see a shot that froze the hailstones mid-air!
