Principle Power
Happiness is You
Here is my page for Asymmetrical balance. This one was a joy to create. It is about my younger daughter's feistiness, which makes me crazy but happy all at the same time! I found this one trickier to bring the same elements across my page, and I'm a bit worried there is too much white space, but I still think it makes me happy so I'm happy with it.

Beautiful! Not too much white space at all!
Thank you! I'm new here and this is my first ever class at BIg Picture Classes. I've scrapbooked for 11 years now but usually go by a sketch and honestly never thought much about where to put what...so I appreciate your comment I'm loving this class about the principles of design and have made more layouts in the past 24 hours than the past year!

Your comment makes me so happy @StephinCanada ! I'm so glad you're creating so much! I think your layout is lovely, and like @Davean said, not to much white space at all! White space is important for giving the eye a place to rest. I also love how you're using the diagonal leading line of ink splatter and embellishment that goes right through your photo. It really draws your eye straight to your beautiful daughter's photo. Well done! Asymmetrical balance can definitely be tricky, but the more you use it, the more you will 'feel' when a layout is balanced.
Thank you! It is nice to know why I am putting items down instead of following what someone else has done. A big slow down for me is taking too much time looking around for things to fit a sketch, but I felt more confident as to why I was pulling particular product!
