Madame Tussauds
Another fun project. I used a mask and mists for the stars at the top of the layout. Hand stitched around one of the misted stars. I do the splats of mist on my layout (the ones in black) by shaking the bottle side-to-side and then taking the spray head out of the bottle, holding it over the layout and depressing the spray nozzle (if you don't want big splats, just do a splat on to a separate paper first, the second splat tends to be a lot smaller!). I also painted a couple of chipboard star shapes and painted them with an orange mist to give a watercolour effect.

I love your technique for splats. It looks GREAT! Thanks for playing along in this month's lesson.
That splat looks amazing! I always struggle when it comes to using my mists that way. I usually regret trying because it "messes up" my clean layout, but if I could get something that looks that good I would be happy with a little mess. I guess that I need to do some practicing. :)
