I have a Nikon D3000 and a 50mm 1.8 lens. I like the blurry background, and I wanted the emphasis on her face, so I used a shallow depth of field. I put her on a blanket under a tree for shade, so I could have as wide as possible aperture. I believe my aperture was right at 1.8, possibly 2. I was happy with this picture, but I would love any feedback.

@AnnStorey

Project Made In: Fundamentals of Exposure for Beginners

</use>

6

"; $("#gallery-dialog").data('gallery-id', 2593).attr('data-gallery-id', 2593).dialog('close').html(gallery); window.picturefill(); $(".timeago").timeago(); $("#gallery-dialog").dialog("open"); // History.pushState(null, "", "/galleries/2593-madeleine")
