To reconcile in QuickBooks Desktop, follow these steps:Open QuickBooks and go to the Banking menu.Select Reconcile.Choose the account you want to reconcile from the Account drop-down menu.
Enter the statement date and ending balance from your bank statement.
Review the list of transactions and mark them as cleared in QuickBooks by checking the boxes next to them.
Verify that the cleared balance matches the statement balance.
If they don't match, review the transactions for errors or missing entries.
Make any necessary adjustments or corrections.
Once the balances match, click on Reconcile Now to complete the process.
Remember to reconcile your accounts regularly to ensure the accuracy of your financial records.
