Required Supplies

Do you have all your supplies? Use this checklist to be sure you're not missing anything you'll need!

1. Fabric You can embroider on most any fabric, depending on how detailed you want your images you may want a finer weave and lighter fabric versus a heavier more sturdy fabric.
2. Embroidery Floss Cheap and easy to find at any local craft store, you will need embroidery floss in any array of colors you want.
3. Scissors Sharp is best but most any scissor will work.
4. Embroidery Hoop They come in various sizes, styles and shapes, just depends on the size of what you're working on and your budget.
5. Needles Check out the needle guide in the Supplies lesson to figure out which needle will work best for your project.
6. Pattern You can create a pattern from your stamps or digital files, but you may want to buy one at a store that has an iron-on transfer included.
7. Transfer Pen If you decide to create your own pattern from a digital file, you will need to trace the image using an iron-on transfer pen.
